Death threat

Death threat

First of all, Karpal is not like the others who are easily scared, he mentioned something like this earlier, ” If you are looking for trouble, this is the right place”. He is a fighter and he has the people behind him. It takes more than a few bullets to silence this old but wise warrior of justice.

PENANG, Feb 20 — DAP chairman Karpal Singh received a letter containing two live bullets at his home here yesterday. However, he was not in at the time. He made a report at the Penang police headquarters, accompanied by his son Jagdeep Singh Deo. He told reporters later that the bullets together with a note were found in an envelope by his clerk. “The envelope was found in my post box at my home by my clerk Ahad Hassan, and it was handed to my legal firm in Green Hall. “When it was opened at my office by another clerk, the envelope was found to contain two live bullets and a handwritten note,” the veteran politician said. The writer of the note threatened to kill Karpal and his family. Karpal believed the threat was related to the political issue in Perak. — Bernama

Perakians to decide TKO or KO

•February 20, 2009 • Leave a Comment

KUALA LUMPUR: The legal wrangle in Perak is best settled by going back to the people for an effective and definitive solution, said Bar Council president Datuk S.Ambiga. “There is a reality on the ground that we must face. While we wrestle with these constitutional and legal issues, the legal actions are not the first and are unlikely to be the last. “This does not provide an effective and definitive solution,” said Ambiga in a press statement. The Bar urged all parties to seriously consider doing so, not only in the interest of Perak folks, but also in the interest of stability and the nation

Now that’s a smart person talking. The people of Perak has been asking for this from the beginning ever since the “rampasan kuasa” by BN. New MB suspended with his excos because of some kind of misconduct or was it someone complained about them, old MB suing the new MB for things that nearly half of the Perakians do not understand (too many lawyer language), everything is too “technical”. While you guys are fighting in court, do you have time for the rakyat? So what if one side wins due to technicality, it is just like a technical knock out in boxing, not like a real Knock Out which is decisive and final. If you don’t stand up by the tenth counts, you are out! So, put up your gloves and stop wasting people’s time.

Hilmi, come back and face us

Hilmi Malek

Hilmi Malek

Come back and prove your innocence Hilmi, why go into hiding if you have done nothing wrong? You can’t hide forever, be a man and face us. What ever happened between you and Eli before is none of our business and it should be kept between both of you. But to provide these private photos of Eli was not ethical in any kind of relationship, especially when they are used to topple Eli’s career in the political arena.

Star KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 19 — Close friends of Hilmi Malek, said to be the ex-boyfriend of Selangor executive councillor Elizabeth Wong remain shocked at the turn of events and are hoping he will step forward to tell his side of the story. “We do not know anything about the pictures and don’t think he would circulate those pictures,” said one of his friends who spoke on condition of anonymity. They last spoke to him on Saturday, and have been trying to contact Hilmi who is believed to be in Indonesia since Monday (three days ago).

Take a breather, Eli

Take a breather, Eli

Star 19 Feb 2009 PETALING JAYA: Bukit Lanjan assemblyman Elizabeth Wong, who described the furore over her scandalous photographs as the ‘darkest episode’ in her life, has gone overseas.

In a press statement on Wednesday, Wong said she had never felt so alone, vulnerable and humiliated since the scandal broke out. “Despite having tendered my resignation from all posts, the media and websites continue to intrude into my private life and privacy.”

“I have been informed by several media that they will continue to publish even more lewd graphical, sensational stories of my private life.” “I have also been told there will be a fresh assault, with more photographs and videos released and circulated in order to completely degrade and bury me,” she said in an e-mail on Thursday.

” She stated that public discussions should not be focused on her but on more important issues such as the coming serious economic recession that would be faced by the nation. “Unemployment is rising, while corruption remains rampant.

I wish public discussions would concentrate on these important issues rather than analysing my private life. My principles remains the same.” “I will not answer any question pertaining to my private life. My private life is not for public scrutiny as I have not broken any law or caused harm to anyone,” she said.

Mainstream medias are getting worst and idiotic

The other night while watching TV3 late news, I noticed that they put up Eli’s photo (face and shoulder sleeping photo) at the background for so long. Why not her usual photos?

I sure TV3 has alot of her well dressed photos in their archive. The victim gets the full blown exposure while the suspects get the blurred faces.  Mainstream medias are getting worst and idiotic.

Idiotic TV Stations

This evening while watching NTV7 news at 7:00pm, I was amazed how the station tried to “protect” the face or the identity of the suspect who distributed Eli’s photos. If we are talking about Hilmi Malek, don’t bother to blur his face. You can find his face almost in every blog that supports Elizabeth Wong and like I mentioned in my previous comment, “Hilmi, you can run but you cannot hide”.

Bullets, Kidnappings & Videotapes

Spilling the beans

Malaysian Insider KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 19 — A photograph of three bullets, “kidnappings” and CCTV videotapes. These were among the evidence presented or alluded to by Opposition Leader Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim in parliament today to support his claims that the BN government is using bribery and other unethical tactics to entice defections.

Anwar also alleged that despite police reports, top government officials were deliberately taking no action. He told parliament how Lim Soo Nee, PKR’s state representative for Kulim agreed to be “bait” and worked together with the Anti-Corruption Agency (now called the Malaysian Anti Corruption Commission) to secure evidence of alleged bribery attempts made by agents of Datuk Seri Mahadzir Khalid to entice a defection. Mahadzir is the former menteri besar of Kedah. Mahadzir’s agents were alleged to have offered up to RM5 million for a defection, Anwar claimed.

A CCTV recording was purportedly made of a meeting between Lim and Mahadzir at a hotel in Seberang Jaya at the end of last year. Anwar also showed a photograph of three bullets sent to PKR Bakar Arang state representative Tan Wei Shu. It was alleged to have been sent when Tan declined an offer to defect.
